Through that process I was introduced to the power of life coaching, and in 2020 earned certification from The Life Coach School. In 2022, after reading Dr. Sue Morter’s groundbreaking book The Energy Codes: The 7-Step System to Awaken Your Spirit, Heal Your Body, and Life Your Best Life, I pursued certification as an Energy Codes Coach, completing my studies in 2023.
I am empathetic and open-hearted, helping clients at all stages of their life journey to discover wholeness in spirit, body and mind. My approach is grounded in these foundational principles:
Our thoughts create our feelings which drive our actions and produce results in our lives. Feelings are where the magic happens. It’s the language of the Soul. Lasting, transformative life change requires an awareness and openness to feel and connect with our emotions to embody our truest, fullest self.
Looking outward to find solutions to our pain will only take a person so far. True healing is found by learning to integrate mind, body and spirit and releasing the emotional blocks and limiting beliefs that block you from experiencing profound well-being.
Avoiding difficult feelings by repressing them or suppressing them is the root cause of many illnesses and “dis-”ease. We must fully “feel” our feelings to achieve balance; we cannot just “think” our way to transformation.
Everything is energy and our life experiences are a reflection of our energy. Our energy depends on our circuitry. We have a natural vital force flow that is part of our energetic system. It nurtures and rejuvenates our physical bodies every day. But most of us are completely unaware of our feeling bodies, its energetic flow, and how it impacts our daily life. When we embody our truest, fullest Self, healing is created in every area of our lives.
The ability to change and heal lies within all of us. I provide compassionate guidance to help you create a calm and deep connection with yourself amidst the “busy-ness” of daily life. My goal is to empower you to become your own healer and create a life of purpose, joy and inner harmony.
Just a few short years ago, my life was profoundly out of balance. As the empty nest chapter of our lives was fast approaching and the last of our children was heading off to college, my husband and I were both struggling with the many changes and challenges our life together was presenting at the time. Additionally, I was experiencing a perplexing constellation of health problems that I feared pointed to a life-altering medical diagnosis. I sleepwalked through my days in survival mode, passively accepting where life took me instead of actively choosing my path. Clutched by anxiety and a deep desire to get to know my true Self, I questioned daily “Who am I? What do I want? What is my purpose?”
Then a friend introduced me to meditation. I was skeptical. How could meditation possibly ease the pain and anxiety I was experiencing? But I made the choice to open my heart and mind to this unfamiliar practice. Working with a meditation coach, I established a practice that has become an essential part of my life. I was astonished at the changes I began to observe in my life. I began to experience a growing inner calm, shifting out of unconscious stress patterns and into more present moment awareness, and found that my puzzling physical symptoms began to fade and my relationships improved. Later, I was diagnosed with ADHD, and engaged with an ADHD life coach to bring awareness and self-acceptance to issues that had plagued me much of my life and learned tools that helped release long-held habits holding me back. My days, once marked by stress and helplessness, became peaceful and empowering.
I had begun the journey of discovering who I truly am.
As founder of LiveAwake, that’s the journey I help clients begin and navigate to seek balance and peace in their lives. The amazing transformation of my life that began with learning to meditate inspired me to teach others what I had learned. In 2018, I became a Certified Meditation Teacher through the Davidji Meditation Academy.
